I ordered the preamplifier CM 7778 to work with channel Master 4228 antenna HD I had installed last week on a mountain high chimney on the roof. HD 4228 antenna itself was a big improvement over the old combo antenna which replaced. Digital reception jumped from the lower half to the upper half of the gauge of strength for all local channnels except for the local CBS station and 3 independent stations. the signal intensity my converter showed both "no signal" or low enough
